GST: Are You Ready to Sign-off?
From Tuesday, December 04 2018 -  09:00
To Wednesday, December 05 2018 - 17:00

Programme Objective

With effect from 1 January 2013, for the purpose of applying for GST schemes where the Assisted Self-help Kit (ASK) is specified as a pre-requisite, it must be reviewed by Accredited Tax Practitioner (GST) [ATP (GST)] or Accredited Tax Advisor (GST) [ATA (GST)] of Singapore Institute of Accredited Tax Professionals (SIATP). The requirement of involving ATP (GST) or ATA (GST) applies even right now - from Apr 2011 when IRAS launched its compliance initiative, Assisted Compliance Assurance Programme (ACAP), in an unprecedented manner.

As ATP (GST) or ATA (GST), you must be motivated and encouraged by such moves as they signal the wave of the future demand for the tax profession in the competitive economy. It is also reasonable to expect more such certification requirements be announced in the near future. In taking up the challenges in the engagements of review and certification, are you equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge? Are you technically ready for such engagements?
This practical workshop aims to share with you some insights of such reviews, enhance your capabilities in performing the respective roles in the areas of technical applications as well as compliance review.

  • Leading the team to review ACAP; or
  • Participating as member in the ACAP Review Team
